Breakthru’s ‘I am Able’ program has supported Daniel as he’s steadily worked towards achieving his goals of living independently and transitioning to work. The flexibility and continuity of individual supports and personnel have been life changing. Over time his co-ordinator of supports and support worker have developed a deep understanding of Daniel’s disability (ABI) which can be ‘invisible’ to many. They can anticipate what will be challenging for Daniel as they plan with him the week ahead and implement effective supports and strategies to build new organisational habits and ways of thinking. Great communication and a team approach involving parent ; other agencies and Daniel has been very constructive. We’re always on the same page. Because of Breakthru Daniel has extended his capacities and remained buoyant despite setbacks along the way. Breakthru has supported Daniel to some significant breakthroughs in 2017 . I cannot commend Andrew and Rhiannon from Wallsend NSW highly enough for their professionalism and quality support. Bravo and thank you.
