About

Established in 1958, Inala has a proud history of supporting individuals living with disability to reach their full potential through flexible accommodation, day services and community support.

Inala provides access to a great variety of individualised programs that recognise the abilities and support the aspirations and development of each person, providing opportunities for all-round personal growth, skills, development, self-esteem and independence.

At Inala, we celebrate Individuality. We believe in individual choice and control to create a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Through person centred consultation with clients and families we provide flexible, tailored support for each person's chosen priorities.

Our specially trained staff regularly update, change and develop new programs based on the needs and requests of clients and their families.

Last weekend, Inala's patron Blanche d'Alpuget launched the third book in her Birth of the Plantagenets series at Gleebooks in Glebe. In conversation with Susan Ryan AO, Blanche discussed her book, this great period of British history, and the battle for power between church and crown that could be argued is still playing out.Susan Ryan described Blanche's writing as 'evocative and powerful - The Lions' Torment is arresting and persuasive in its detail.' A period of history that Blanche has been interested in since her early twenties, she says, 'I went there in my mind to recreate the time, and followed up with much research and visits to the locations in the book.'Such dedication has clearly paid off. The Lions' Torment, and indeed the series, is well worth a read.Interested?
