Hireup have been excellent. They even showed me how to allocate funding on the NDIS mygov portal, something that had been confusing me when reading all the NDIS stuff.
I found the best way was to touch base with someone rather than put in a job ad. That way you message each other first and get to know them a bit. I have a couple of people on my team that I go to directly to see if they are available and then once I have the OK I book them directly. Have never put a job ad up.
Amazing. So easy! My brother has been able to access his community with workers who share common interests with him. Having the freedom, choice and control for us to connect with who we want, and communicate directly with them has allowed such great connections! It’s fantastic that the middle man is cut out, and workers and people seeking support can connect with each other directly. We have had so much more success in support than ever before with a traditional model.
Hireup has provided my brother so many amazing opportunities to access the community, with supports that he has chosen. He has a great team of hireup workers who help him be independent and share similar interests/personalities.
Because the choice and control for all communications and bookings are directly with our ourselves and the workers, it is so much more positive! We have had far greater success than with any other traditional provider.
A system for both workers and clients to be in control. Assistance given when needed and always gives a caring nature. Even from NSW to my state as a worker I have everything I need at my finger tips over the internet.
They have opened up so many opportunities for my brother and he finally has the choice and control over who he books, for what and when!

Brilliant idea. Easy to use. Friendly staff if you have any questions. No service agreement fee or funds locked in. Cheaper hourly rates than ones set by NDIA. At last someone that gets it!
Provider does not give any level of customer service what so ever. It is so difficult to sign up and get started it is ridiculous. They don’t bother chasing your referee when you sign on to look for workers and they leave you in limbo…
Do not waste your time when your in need of care and assistance!
Our HireUp experience has been empowering. As a person with a disability myself I find it to be a very easy platform to use. We now have 6 staff for myself and our two boys and managing them is cost-effective and easy. I cannot rate our experience highly enough.
Such a simple solution! Really easy to navigate the site and choose your support network. Cost effective & quick. Simplifies the question of employment of staff right down to just who you need and what for. Sign an agreement & pay the invoices. Perfect choice for self managing.
